You know who was non-obese? Ben Kenobi. And hats off to him. Imagine sitting around Tatooine for twenty-odd years with nothing to do but wait for Luke Skywalker to grow up. It's a wonder Ben didn't balloon while aging sedentarily in the Jundland Wastes.
Then again, just the fear of being teased as "Obese-Wan Kenobi" probably motivated him enough to keep fit.
